When shareholding becomes an experience: behind the scenes of the Societe Generale Shareholders’ Club
Created to strengthen the relationship between Societe Generale and its individual shareholders, the Shareholders’ Club offers a renewed approach to shareholder engagement, built around dialogue, discovery and experience. Through a program combining sport, culture and exclusive encounters, the Group invites its shareholders to immerse themselves in the heart of its commitments, fostering a more tangible, more immersive and deeply human relationship. What if being a shareholder was no longer just about holding shares, but about enjoying a genuine experience?
Rugby: a historic partnership open to shareholders
This approach is fully reflected in the Group’s major partnerships, starting with rugby. Societe Generale shares with this sport strong values of respect, commitment and team spirit. A longstanding partner of the French Rugby Federation, the Group became a Premium Partner in 2024 and now appears on the jerseys of all French national teams.
Through the Shareholders’ Club, members were recently given the opportunity to experience the Six Nations Championship from within, notably during the unique presentation of the French national anthem La Marseillaise in French Sign Language last February.

An immersion into the world of culture and music
Classical music is another key pillar of these experiences. In 2026, the Societe Generale Foundation and the Philharmonie de Paris strengthened their partnership, contributing to the international reach of symphonic programming, musical education and the development of innovative projects.
Club members regularly benefit from privileged invitations to attend concerts or discover exhibitions under exclusive conditions.

Contemporary art as a place for connection and sharing
This immersive journey continues through the Societe Generale Collection, created in 1995 and comprising nearly 1,800 works of art. Guided tours, workshops and exhibitions held at emblematic Group sites allow Club members to discover contemporary creation in a privileged setting.

The experience, as told by Club Members
In Paris as well as across the regions, members’ feedback reflects a shared perception: that of a distinctive experience giving shareholder relations a whole new dimension. “You discover a universe of simplicity and authenticity. During the Art Basel exhibition visit, a passionate speaker helped us understand the meaning of art works whose significance we could never have imagined. Every encounter is an opportunity to learn something new!” says Caroline Meignen, member of the Club and member of the Shareholders’ Consultative Committee.
Classical music concerts, exhibitions, sports and heritage discoveries are regularly praised as “a unique experience, enhanced by a guided tour that completely changes the way you look at the artworks”, “an exceptional moment to share with family in an incredible atmosphere”, or “high quality events, perfectly organised”, reinforcing the sense of belonging to the Club.
